Commissioner Guide
Use this checklist to run a clean weekly pool with fewer support questions.
Core rule:
Set the game mode and roster rules before inviting everyone to submit picks or join the draft room. Once picks lock or a draft completes, rosters are treated as final unless you intentionally correct them.
Weekly Pick Pool
1. Confirm game mode. In Settings, choose Pick Selection.
2. Review tiers. Set tier sizes and picks per tier before users submit.
3. Share the invite. Use the Pool section to copy the invite link or code.
4. Watch lock state. Picks close when you lock the pool or when tournament scoring starts.
5. Monitor scoring. Confirm field, odds, and live scores are updating as the tournament progresses.
Snake or Auction Draft
1. Confirm game mode. In Settings, choose Draft Room, then select Snake or Auction.
2. Set roster size. Confirm picks per team, auction budget, and timers before starting.
3. Wait for everyone. The draft room shows ready state and pool members.
4. Start the draft. Once started, draft actions are handled server-side.
5. Finalize rosters. Completed drafts save to the leaderboard from the server draft record.
Reset and Data Health
The weekly reset archives results, clears rosters/chat/PBP state, unlocks picks, and waits for the next tournament field. Scores and field data refresh automatically — no action needed from the commissioner.
When Something Looks Wrong
- If users cannot join, resend the invite link and code.
- If picks are blocked, check lock state and tournament status.
- If scores look stale, wait a few minutes — live scores refresh automatically every 3 minutes during play. Contact support if they remain stale.
- If a roster needs correction, use commissioner roster tools intentionally and tell the pool.
